One major problem is that people lose a lot of time sitting in traffic. Instead of spending time with family or working, they are stuck on the road for hours. This can make people feel tired and stressed every day. Another big issue is the pollution caused by too many cars. When vehicles are stuck and moving slowly, they release more exhaust into the air. This makes the air dirty and can lead to health problems, especially for people with asthma or other breathing issues.

To solve these problems, one good solution is to improve public transportation. If buses, trains, and subways are comfortable and come on time, more people will choose to use them instead of driving. For example, cities like Tokyo and Seoul have fast and reliable trains, and fewer people need to drive. Another possible solution is to charge people money to drive in busy areas. This is called a “congestion charge.” Cities like London have used this system to reduce traffic in the city center.

In conclusion, traffic jams are a serious issue that affects people’s time, health, and the environment. However, if cities invest in better transport and create new rules to limit cars, traffic can be reduced, and life in the city can improve.
